Ensure you monitor these resources and determine the best times to use them. On the other hand, you may want to hold off on using the missiles since they only have so much range. The same applies to your cooldowns: you'll want to use some of them immediately, like the oil barrels and Pipsqueaks since they only benefit you. Your commands matter since the bar consistently fills up, so you don't want them to max out. The sooner you level up, the sooner you get the benefits, so constantly think about what you want to upgrade next, so you won't waste time as the enemy sends out its troops. You want to level up as soon as you get a combat point, so keep an eye on the experience bar at the top. Pips, levels, and money make up your primary resources, so you'll have to monitor them to ensure you don't run out constantly. Micromanaging involves a few critical aspects of staying on top of the game. If you can't manage every aspect of your army, you'll be overwhelmed by the enemy. You make a wrong calculation and you will pay for it dearly. If you plan to play Warpips like a pro, you must practice your micromanaging. You get the balance just right and you could very well steamroll over the enemy. Tanks, choppers, dudes with guns, and so on are all at your fingertips. You have to decide what kind of units you are going to deploy into battle. You have a variety of different units at your disposal. I love how Warpips manages to be deep, but not at the expense of having fun. Far too many war games have a massive barrier of entry due to being so complex. What I like about this is that the game is very accessible. It is a “tug-of-war” gameplay system that is just so very addictive. You need to protect yours on one side of the screen, while making your way to the enemies’ side to blow up there’s. I do feel that there are slight similarities with what is being offered here. The game I was talking about in the intro was Advanced Wars. It just has a ton of charm to it and it reminded me of when I would play in the sandbox with my GI Joe, MASK, and Transformers toys, all be it without the huge explosions and death of course! This War Could Be Advanced! I love the art style that they went for with this game.
